Oklahoma State University Foundation will Use Blackbaud Solutions to Manage Major Capital Campaign and Unprecedented Donations

The Oklahoma State University Foundation’s mission is to unite donor and university passions and priorities to achieve excellence. The Foundation currently manages $236 million in endowments and $375 million in assets. Ninety-seven percent of all gifts the Foundation processes are restricted for a specific program, project, college, campus, or department and are deposited into one the Foundation’s more than 2000 accounts.


On the verge of launching a major capital campaign, Oklahoma State University Foundation needed an integrated solution that would provide a holistic view of constituents, enable better reporting, and streamline financial management.


The Foundation selected Blackbaud’s Solution for Higher Education to replace its disparate financial and fundraising systems. The Foundation will use The Financial Edge to maintain accountability, improve efficiency, and meet strict reporting requirements. In addition, the Foundation will use The Raiser’s Edge to equip development officers with the tools they need to develop constituent relationships and raise more money.


Foundation staff members are now able to integrate financial and fundraising data, and report more effectively. Auditing is streamlined and staff members are empowered with the real-time information they need.
