Bowdoin College

Bowdoin College Uses Blackbaud® NetCommunity™ To Build an Online Portal for Supporters

Bowdoin is an independent, nonsectarian, coeducational residential, undergraduate liberal arts institution founded in 1794. It is located in Brunswick, Maine, and offers a bachelor of arts degree in one of over 40 departmental and interdisciplinary majors. Bowdoin enrolls approximately 1,710 students from across the country and around the world.

Bowdoin College wanted its online giving experience to acknowledge the relationship each of its supporters has with the institution.

Staff members at Bowdoin chose Blackbaud NetCommunity to help them build a website that would reflect their supporters’ interest.

Blackbaud NetCommunity allowed the College to create 22 unique online giving forms — one for each group of parents, alumni, and athletic supporters — that automatically share all of the information collected with The Raiser’s Edge®.
