Todd Lant is Blackbaud’s Chief Information Officer responsible for helping Blackbaud power social good by leading the company’s enterprise information technology and cybersecurity strategy. With 25 years of experience in IT, he leads Blackbaud’s global IT digital transformation, business applications, operations, project management, governance, and infrastructure.
Since joining Blackbaud in May 2003, he has helped lead the company through significant growth and helped develop subscription and cloud-based solution offerings and supporting platforms. In addition, Todd leads Blackbaud’s Cybersecurity team, a critical partner with Research, Delivery and Operations to protect the company’s and its customers’ data and infrastructure.
Prior to Blackbaud, Todd held various IT leadership positions in commercial software and telecommunications. He speaks on digital transformation and technology trends at industry and community events and contributes to regional technology development. Todd serves as a board member at the Charleston Digital Corridor, Trident United Way, and the YMCA of Greater Charleston. He is also an advisory board member to The Citadel’s Department of Engineering Leadership & Program Management and Charleston Southern University’s Computer Science Department. He holds a BS in computer science and an MBA from Georgia State University.
