Blackbaud is led by a diverse management team with a broad base of business experience in commercial and nonprofit software and services. Michael Gianoni

President and Chief Executive Officer

Michael (Mike) Gianoni

Mike Gianoni is President and CEO of Blackbaud, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLKB), a leading technology company that powers the business of philanthropy for approximately 35,000 clients around the world. An experienced IT services executive, Mike’s interest in technology was sparked in high school when he took his first engineering class. Today, with degrees in both engineering and business – as well as an MBA and Honorary Doctorate from the University of New Haven – Mike has a successful track record of strong operational management of IT businesses that deliver value for customers, shareholders and employees.

A first-generation American with a passion for veterans’ initiatives, animal welfare (especially dogs), and exploring the U.S. coastline either by sailboat or motorcycle, Mike is an advocate for corporate cultures that encourage employees to thrive professionally and personally while accomplishing strong top-line growth.

Mike joined Blackbaud from Fiserv, Inc., a global provider of financial services technology solutions, where he was executive vice president and group president of the Financial Institutions Group. Previously, he was president of Fiserv’s Investment Services division, executive vice president and general manager of CheckFree Investment Services, and the leader of numerous divisions at DST, where he focused on developing new platforms and ensuring stronger operational controls. He currently serves on the board of directors for University of New Haven and Teradata and is a former member of the board of directors for LibertyHealth System (New Jersey) and the American Red Cross Southeast County (Massachusetts).

Anthony Boor

Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration

Anthony (Tony) Boor

Tony Boor joined Blackbaud as its Chief Financial Officer in November 2011. Tony is responsible for Blackbaud's financial reporting and controls, corporate IT, legal, and administrative services. Prior to joining the company, he served as an executive with Brightpoint, Inc. beginning in 1999, most recently as its executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He also served as the interim president of Europe, Middle East and Africa during the company’s significant restructuring of that region. Tony served as director of business operations for Brightpoint North America from August 1998 to July 1999. Prior to joining Brightpoint, Tony was employed in various financial positions with Macmillan Computer Publishing, Inc., Day Dream Publishing, Inc., Ernst & Young LLP, Expo New Mexico, KPMG LLP and Ernst & Whinney LLP. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from New Mexico State University. A dedicated servant leader, he serves on the board of directors of the Lord’s Pantry at Anna’s House and is a former board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Kevin Gregoire

Executive Vice President, and President of Enterprise Markets Group

Kevin Gregoire

Kevin Gregoire serves as President of Blackbaud’s Enterprise Market Group (EMG) for North America, with responsibility for leading sales, marketing, services, support, analytics and solution innovation specifically designed to meet the complex needs of the company’s largest customers.

Gregoire joined Blackbaud in 2018 with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the software industry, with responsibilities spanning product management, business development, sales, support and more.

He is a 16-year veteran of Fiserv, a global provider of financial services technology solutions, where he played an instrumental role in the company’s growth. As Group President of Fiserv’s Financial Institutions Group, Kevin was responsible for a $1B+ portfolio of businesses, achieving noteworthy revenue growth and industry-leading retention rates while optimizing technology platforms, reducing costs and expanding customer support. During his tenure at Fiserv, Kevin served in other key leadership roles including Division President and Chief Operating Officer, Card Services, and Senior Vice President of Product and Network Strategy.

Kevin is also a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers and was awarded three Army Commendation Medals. He has a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College.

Brian Boruff

Executive Vice President of Partner Ecosystem and Global Alliances

Brian Boruff

Brian Boruff serves as Blackbaud’s Executive Vice President of Partner Ecosystem and Global Alliances, with responsibility for growing, building and leading Blackbaud’s global partner ecosystem. He has more than 32 years of experience operating at the forefront of major transformational changes that have shaped the IT software and services Industry. Beginning at Hewlett-Packard in 1982 during the mini-computer era; 9 years at Apple during the PC revolution; 15 years as a senior executive at Microsoft; and the past 7 years forming and leading software business units at CSC, Accenture and Infosys, Brian has been able to identify and then capitalize on IT trends and technologies. At Microsoft, he spent 15 years in various software sales and services delivery leadership roles, including founder and leader of the Communications Sector Group across EMEA (based in Paris) and vice president of US Enterprise Services, a $1.2 Billion consulting and software support division responsible for providing mission-critical product support, consulting services, systems integration and cloud applications to enterprise and public sector clients across the US. Brian serves on the board of Certified Security Solutions, a leading Microsoft solution partner, and has advised many early stage companies such as Cumulux and Opstera on their growth and M&A strategies. He was awarded the prestigious Bill Gates Chairman’s Award in 2003, one of Microsoft’s top honors, in recognition for his work building and leading EMEA’s Network Service Provider and Mobility division. Brian is active in Young Life and other philanthropic efforts focused on the development and growth of our youth.

Kevin Mooney

Executive Vice President, and President of General Markets Group

Kevin Mooney

Kevin W. Mooney is Executive Vice President, and President of General Markets Group at Blackbaud, with responsibility for the marketing, sales, services and support of more than 23,000 customers. He joined the company from Travelport GDS, one of the world's largest travel conglomerates with operations in 145 countries, where he served as chief commercial officer responsible for global sales, marketing, product management, service and support activities. Previously, Kevin was the chief financial officer for Worldspan (acquired by Travelport), which provided transaction processing and IT services to the travel industry. He has also held executive positions in the telecommunications industry including chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Cincinnati Bell and Broadwing, Inc. A graduate of Seton Hall University with an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University, he is a past board member of tw telecom and currently serves on the board of Level 3 Communications, a Fortune 500 provider of enterprise communications services. He also serves on the board of directors of the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University and Ashley Hall School.

David Benjamin

Executive Vice President, and President of International Markets Group

David Benjamin

David Benjamin is President of Blackbaud’s International Markets Group, overseeing European, Australian and New Zealand operations. David is a seasoned executive with decades of leadership within the technology, telecommunications and media sectors. Prior to joining Blackbaud in the spring of 2018, David served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Box, a cloud content management platform for businesses, where he oversaw their Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) market. Under his leadership, the business achieved record revenue and customer growth through expansion in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

David previously spent nearly a decade as Vice President of Global Services at British Telecom (BT), where he also achieved notable growth in their cloud, mobile, and digital services, and 12 years at Guardian Media Group, where he served, among other leadership roles, as Divisional Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on strategy and finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and graduated with honors from the London Metropolitan University with a Bachelor of Arts in European Business. David combines his expertise and passion for empowering nonprofits by supporting the conservation of the Royal Parks and donating to The Bike Project.

Jagtar Narula

Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development

Jagtar Narula

Jagtar is Blackbaud’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development responsible for leading the company’s strategic planning and inorganic growth initiatives. Jagtar has an extensive background in strategy development and acquisition execution with a focus on technology companies. He joined Blackbaud in 2014 as the leader of corporate financial planning and analysis and investment strategy and has also led Blackbaud’s investor relations program.

Prior to joining Blackbaud, Jagtar was a finance and strategy executive at Xerox Corporation where he held a number of key roles including Vice President, Finance for their $7.5 billion office division and $3 billion indirect channels business, Vice President, Acquisition Operations (responsible for global acquisition integration activities), Director, Corporate Strategy and Director, Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to Xerox, he was an investment principal with the Washington, DC based venture capital firm Core Capital Partners and GE Equity, the private equity arm of the General Electric Company. Previously, Jagtar was a practicing engineer with the Westinghouse Electric Company and is a patent holder.

Jagtar holds a BS in engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member and chairs the finance committee for the Charleston Youth Development Center, a nonprofit devoted to helping disadvantaged youth in the greater Charleston area.

Kevin McDearis

Executive Vice President and Chief Products Officer

Kevin McDearis

Kevin McDearis is a leader, visionary, and proven business and technology innovator with global experience across a broad spectrum of industries. As Executive Vice President, Chief Products Officer at Blackbaud, Kevin is responsible for strategy, product management, engineering and operations of the company’s global portfolio of products. Working with business and technical teams, he oversees technology strategy to develop solutions that exceed quality and performance expectations for Blackbaud’s customers across 60 countries worldwide. Kevin has a track record as a pioneer in the online payments space. As a senior leader at Fiserv (formerly CheckFree), a leading global provider of financial services technology, Kevin played key roles in tech innovations that developed the online bill pay capabilities leveraged by millions of individuals and organizations today.

Kevin has a strong commitment to nonprofit leadership and has served on a number of nonprofit boards supporting economic growth, women in technology, and STEM education. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia, TAG, since 2011 and as Vice-Chairman of the Board in 2014. During his time on the board, TAG has grown to be the largest technology association in the country. Kevin most recently joined the Board of Directors for the USS Yorktown Foundation.

John Mistretta

Executive Vice President of
Human Resources

John Mistretta

John Mistretta is Executive Vice President of Human Resources, responsible for leadership development and talent management, growing a people-and-purpose-centered organization. In his current role, he also serves as a trusted advisor to the chair of the Blackbaud Board of Directors on executive and human capital matters, designs and leads succession planning, supports the board compensation committee, and personally oversees the recruitment and selection of key leaders. John joined Blackbaud from SunTrust Banks, where he led merger integration with National Commerce Financial, working with the bank’s top three executives. Previously, at National Commerce Financial, he led human resources for the $26 billion business with 6,000 employees, as well as overseeing alternative (internet banking, telebanking, ATM and Debit Card) businesses. Earlier in his career, he served as an executive at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina and spent 14 years at Citicorp. A professional committed to career development for underserved populations, John serves on the Tri-County Cradle to Career Collaborative Community Leadership Council and YES Carolina, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth the principals of entrepreneurship and free enterprise. He has been active with numerous nonprofits and community groups, including the MUSC Children’s Hospital Foundation Board, National Kidney Foundation, and the Durham Workforce Development Board. He earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Catherine LaCour

Chief Marketing Officer

Catherine LaCour

Bringing more than two decades of leadership experience spanning the private, public and social sectors, Catherine LaCour is Blackbaud’s Chief Marketing Officer, a member of the company’s executive leadership team and head of the Blackbaud Institute for Philanthropic Impact™. Catherine leads cross-organization strategy to deliver Blackbaud’s brand promise, increase adoption of its leading cloud solutions, drive an outstanding customer experience and forge strategic partnerships that lift the entire social good community. She oversees the company’s global center of excellence for marketing, which includes corporate marketing, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, marketing operations and more. Prior to joining Blackbaud in 2009, Catherine served as vice president of marketing and product management at Regent Education. She has a long track record of path-changing success, from advising and equipping nonprofits to build high-impact brands and grow their constituent base as a consultant to driving remarkable systems growth at the International Telecommunications Union, an arm of the United Nations in Africa.

With career experience on the front lines of social good innovation across the public, private and social sectors, Catherine brings deep passion for the role every person and organization can play in building a better world. She challenges herself and those around her to cultivate an ecosystem of good and strengthen the social economy, and speaks frequently in forums such as TEDx, the Social Innovation Summit and more.

In 2017, Catherine was named a Fellow by Liberty Fellowship, a South Carolina leadership initiative. Liberty Fellowship is part of The Aspen [Institute] Global Leadership Network, a worldwide community of leaders from business, government and nonprofit sectors who share a commitment to enlightened leadership and using their creativity, energy and resources to tackle the foremost societal challenges of our times.

Catherine is a board member for the Women’s Refugee Commission, a nonprofit advocating for laws, policies and programs to improve the lives and protect the rights of refugee women and children. She currently sits on the College of Charleston Graduate School’s Advisory Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and an MBA from American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Chuck L. Longfield

Senior Vice President, Chief Scientist

Chuck Longfield

Chuck Longfield became Blackbaud's Chief Scientist in January 2007 and is the founder of Target Software, Inc. and Target Analysis Group, Inc., both now Blackbaud companies. Longfield has extensive experience designing and implementing national as well as international constituency databases that address the fundraising information needs at many of the world's largest nonprofit organizations. In recognition of his accomplishments, Chuck is the recipient of the DMA 2012 Max Hart Nonprofit Achievement Award. Prior to founding the Target companies in 1992, Longfield taught math to middle and high school students. He was honored by FundRaising Success in 2007 with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the nonprofit sector. He holds a BA in mathematics and a MEd from Harvard University and has more than 30 years of experience helping nonprofits effectively use technology and information to improve their fundraising performance. Chuck turns his professional commitment to philanthropy into personal action through dedicated board service with the WGBH Educational Foundation, Mt. Auburn Hospital, Lesley University and the Longfield Family Foundation.

Mary Beth Westmoreland

Senior Vice President, and Chief Technology Officer

Mary Beth Westmoreland

Mary Beth Westmoreland is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading Blackbaud’s worldwide technology strategy, architecture and user experience across the company’s entire solution portfolio. She has 30 years of experience in software engineering. Mary Beth started with Blackbaud in 2008 and has over 30 years of experience in software engineering and product development.

Prior to joining Blackbaud, Mary Beth was vice president of research and development at Ipswitch, Inc. where she led product development for the company’s entire product portfolio, including the WS_FTP family of products and WhatsUp Gold Network Monitoring and IMail Server product suites. Before Ipswitch, she spent 15 years at the Savannah River National Laboratory where she started as a programmer and eventually managed the company’s Enterprise and Technical Systems Engineering organizations.

Mary Beth has been named one of the 2017 Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council — a definitive list that honors the most extraordinary female leaders, influencers and achievers impacting the technology industry. She was recognized for her leadership in Blackbaud’s transformation to a cloud software company that is innovative, agile, and successful, for her mentorship to inspire other women and for her commitment to corporate citizenship.

Mary Beth is a member of the board of directors of the South Carolina chapter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation and a Computer Science Advisory Board Member for Clemson University, and is actively involved in a variety of STEM programs and Women in Technology initiatives. Mary Beth graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Physics from Immaculata University located near Philadelphia, PA.

Jon Olson

Senior Vice President and
General Counsel

Jon Olson

Jon Olson joined Blackbaud as Senior Vice President & General Counsel in September 2008. Jon is responsible for Blackbaud's legal activities, including negotiating transactions, managing corporate governance activities and legal compliance. Before joining the company, he was an attorney with Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Jon was employed in legal positions with MCI, Unisys and in private practice. He received his BS from Georgetown University, JD from Dickinson School of Law and MBA from Seton Hall University. Jon is a member of the MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina) Hollings Cancer Center Citizens Advisory Council and is on the board of the Charleston Regional Alliance for The Arts.

Stephen Halleck

Business Operations

Stephen Halleck

Steve Halleck is Blackbaud’s Senior Vice President of Business Operations responsible for driving customer satisfaction through operational excellence and quality improvement. Steve has extensive experience enhancing organizational capabilities and driving improved business results. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Steve served as senior vice president, group operations, Financial Institutions Group at Fiserv, Inc. a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions. In this position, he was accountable for leading seven unique businesses in the areas of business planning, operational best practices, quality improvement and strategic initiative execution. Prior to that, Steve served in a variety of software engineering, quality assurance, and operational maturity roles throughout his 32 year career in technology services at Fiserv, CheckFree, and Wachovia Bank.

Steve holds a BBA in Information Systems degree from the University of Georgia. He is currently a Partner with Social Venture Partners of Charleston, a network of engaged philanthropists who collectively invest their expertise and resources in mission-driven nonprofits to achieve sustainable, measurable impact.

Walter Loiselle

Senior Vice President of Customer Operations

Walter Loiselle

Bringing more than 25 years of experience working with enterprise customers, Walter Loiselle is Blackbaud’ Senior Vice President of Customer Operations and a member of its Executive Leadership Team. Walter is responsible for optimizing the company’s professional services and support organizations through robust processes, metrics and reporting. He is an accomplished, senior technology, professional services and customer support executive with extensive experience in identifying, architecting, implementing and supporting large-scale professional services, product development, and operational support organizations.

Walter has held various CIO, COO and client-facing roles in a number of reputable technology companies, and most recently at Fiserv, he was the Chief Operating Officer for its Digital Channels Division. He also previously served as an adjunct professor at Roger William University.

Walter has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rhode Island College and has achieved a variety of specialized technology and project management certificates from Boston University and Bryant University.

Patrick Hodges

Senior Vice President of Global Sales

Patrick Hodges

Patrick Hodges is Blackbaud’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales, leading the company’s overall sales strategy and global sales operating model. Patrick is responsible for driving sales optimization and excellence across vertical and horizontal markets, overseeing Blackbaud’s growing presence in regional engagement centers across North America, and strengthening its international footprint. He also drives accountability and consistency in key operational areas, including metrics, sales process, compensation, training, professional development, and customer engagement.

Patrick brings nearly two decades of sales acumen and a deep understanding of the social good community to his role. In his most previous role as vice president of sales, he led Blackbaud’s fastest growing sales unit for nearly four years. As a leader who sells with a purpose, Patrick is charged with ensuring that his teams not only have the information, knowledge, and sales tools to be successful, but that they understand the greater purpose behind their roles — how their work directly contributes to the powerful outcomes of social good organizations.

Patrick served in various sales leadership roles prior to joining Blackbaud in 2001 and has a bachelor of business administration from the University of Georgia.
