Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA grows sustained giving program by 43% with Essentials with Go!™

Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA is a full-access animal shelter in Pomona, California. As a full-access shelter, Inland Valley takes in all sick, injured, lost, and homeless animals — even those that are not good candidates for adoption, and cares for these animals while helping to find them loving, permanent homes.


Before participating in the Essentials with Go!™ program through Luminate Online Marketing™, Inland Valley Humane Society and SPCA lacked a cohesive strategy for cultivating sustained giving online. A limited number of staff members and unfamiliarity with comprehensive fundraising software further complicated the organization’s ability to craft and execute a dedicated sustainer program.


Essentials with Go! provided Inland Valley with a strategic framework for developing a successful sustained-giving program, the training needed to maximize its return on investment, and email templates that can be used year-after-year as the organization continues to expand its sustained-giving donor base.


Using Essentials with Go! and Luminate Online Marketing, Inland Valley increased its number of online sustainer donors by 43%. Less than one year after graduating from the Essentials with Go! program, the organization has continued to see growth in online and offline sustained giving. Furthermore, Inland Valley has grown its total online sustained-giving donor base by 78% since it first began with Go! in 2012.
